The aim of our Entrepreneurship Development Program is to inculcate the knowledge and implementation of starting a new business venture or running better an existing business entity.

There are people out there who have established a business on a set of expertise that they (individual or partner(s), or a private company) have. However they lack many other skills, which hinders in the smooth successful running of the business in consideration. Some may be struggling to survive, some may be close to bankruptcy, while some may be making profits but not to its optimum level.

As an entrepreneur, one has to coordinate and activate a set of activities which may be split between departments or even segments in case of a very small entity. Sometimes, one may outsource one, two, or even more operational activities to other BPOs (Business Process Outsourcing) so that they can focus on their core skill or product that the entrepreneur(s) is good at. But at times it may be best not to do so. There are many considerations involved.

In our program, participants will learn about;

  • Business Plan
  • Marketing Plan
  • Financial Plan
  • Product or Service Development Plan (if necessary)
  • Operations Plan
  • Human Resources Plan
  • Concept of TQM (Total Quality Management)

The above few are mostly plans. However, one may have very good plans set out either by themselves or by expert consultants, but who will execute those plans? Which kind of person(s), meaning managers or directors will strategize and execute them? Do you know where to find such person(s)? Can you afford to pay their salaries? If yes, for how long?

There are many wider aspects to the Entrepreneurship Development Program which Dallas International will reveal to the training participants. There will be a visit to a new/old firm or a private limited company, in case some or all training participants desire to do so and they will interview the owner/director of the firm/company to talk about how they started their business and what did it take to reach where they are.
